Dinner in Charleston

Charleston is a foodie’s paradise and I doubt locals are ever bored with their choices. In addition to updated twists on long standing favorites, there’s a lot food ideas coming in from other cultures. Charlestonians welcome good tasting diversity.

Even so, I tend to steer visitors to where my own first Charleston dining experiences began: 82 Queen, Magnolia’s and Poogan’s Porch, for example. For me, they make wonderful first impressions and continue to impress through the years. Try these for starters, then branch out to more Charleston dining suggestions from Town and Country.
