Fig Salami Appetizer

I’ve planted fig trees at Pineapple Hill including both Brown Turkey and Black Mission. The Black Missions are especially of interest due to having had them in a Fig Salami appetizer. It’s not a meat dish, mind you, but a salami shaped loaf of dried figs, walnuts, and other ingredients aged several months before serving. Wow! Here’s a recipe you might like.
