If a dog likes a porch…

…it’s a very good porch. This is Lady, a Rhodesian Ridgeback visiting from Georgia. In the background is my Pawley’s Island hammock—the design for Pineapple Hill centered on the placement of that hammock on this screened floor. As a beach house raised eleven feet up, we get nice breezes during our Southern summers. Plus there’s a great view of our bottom pasture where grasses rippling in the wind remind me of waves rolling in at the sea.
