Marketing: Any Danged Fool Can Do It

The Jonesville Reservoir is a 35-acre lake just through the woods behind Pineapple Hill. For a couple of years on Facebook I claimed to keep giant squids, Great Whites, Sasquatches, Carolina Lizard Men, dinosaurs, UFOs and other “attractions” there. I ran ticket specials and honeymoon packages. I stopped when Facebook became a political clusterfreak. Still, people ask if they can pet the Sasquatches or ride the squids. Naturally, I say “Yes. It just costs a little more.”
