WINE CELLAR AT PINEAPPLE HILL

It’s not really a cellar but that’s okay—it’s not quite wine.

I offer this photo because this latest batch (made from last year’s grapes) is described as “less like salad dressing, more like wine.”

Crystal (Marianne in Blue Rubber Pool) said: “closer.”

My writing pal, Paul Barra, wrote: We went to NYC last week, armed with a bottle of your finest Catawba wine. My brother and his Italian-born wife both drink wine at dinner. They discuss what they drink and so we discussed the offering from Pineapple Hill: they loved it. We had it chilled and pronounced it “dry,” “full-bodied,” and “fruit driven.” We had one of their favorite wines from Italy after it and liked the Catawba better.

I’m not bragging. I’m just encouraged.
